Netflix’s latest political drama, Anatomy of a Scandal, is creating ripples not only for its beautifully crafted story, strong cast, and brilliantly done courtroom scenes, but also for the sensitive topic that it addresses and how simple things can look very different from different sides.

I finished Anatomy Of A Scandal and at one point Sophie Whitehouse asks their nanny “he’s a good man?” She replies with “he’s a man”. And honestly I don’t think two seconds of a series has ever stuck with me as much as that did.

for someone who’s usually quite strong stomached i’ve had to switch off anatomy of a scandal multiple times whilst watching. the cross examination of the woman who had been raped made me feel sick to my stomach, because those insane questions are genuinely asked of women, awful
